The public voting for the Business Angel of the Year 2022 competition has started.

Business Angel of the Year is a competition that recognises the most active and involved in building the Polish startup community through investment and development support. We reward business angels and venture capital funds that stand out for their extraordinary commitment to the development of innovative technological projects.

The competition consists of three stages: the nomination of candidates, which are then evaluated by a Jury. The Jury awards finalists in four categories; in two categories, the winner is decided by a public vote.

In this year's edition, thanks to the activity of the entire community, we received a record number of nominations for the competition. The number of entries in the competition increased by more than 40% compared to last year's edition.

From among the nominees who confirmed their nominations, the competition Jury selected the finalists in 6 categories (Angel of the Year, Ecosystem Award, Debutant of the Year, Impact Investor of the Year, Best Foreign Investor, Venture Award by VC Leaders).

In the categories "Ecosystem Award" and "Venture Award by VCLeaders", the Jury selected 6 finalists in both categories. The winners will be selected by public vote.
